DENVER (KDVR) — The Lone Tree Police Department arrested a 33-year-old man in connection with a 57-year-old woman’s death.
The woman, identified as Kathleen Mayo, was found dead inside her home at an apartment complex on Park Meadows Drive in Lone Tree on Sept. 4 at about noon after a welfare check was requested.
The Lone Tree Police Department said at the time it was treating the case as a homicide and released photos of Mayo to the public, as well as sharing that she was a part-time rideshare driver.
Troy Marcus Reynolds Jr., 33, was arrested in connection with Mayo’s homicide, and the police department said he’s facing charges that include first-degree murder, burglary, animal cruelty, menacing and tampering with physical evidence.
The Lone Tree Police Department said the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are aiding with the investigation.
