The man who led police on a high-speed chase along I-95 on
Friday is expected to make his first court appearance on Monday in Nash County.
Shaheem Stephenson, 20, faces nearly a dozen charges in Nash
and Harnett counties.
WRAL’s Sky 5 captured video of the car speeding down I-95
South near Dunn on Friday afternoon.
At one point, the car was going up to 140mph. State Troopers
told WRAL News Stephenson was apparently racing another car, but that driver
pulled over.
Stephenson is currently in jail without bond. He also has a
court appearance scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 17, in Harnett County.
