My default way of looking at the world is through a creative lens, so the beauty of wildlife and nature that surrounds me at Londolozi never fails to inspire and ignite my artistic side. The vibrant colours, captivating textures, and breathtaking landscapes create a visual wonderland.
In this blog, I want to take you on a visual journey, that showcases the colourful and creative essence of Londolozi’s wilderness—a living art gallery.
While you may associate the African wilderness with neutral, muted tones, there are specks of bright colours all around. When I set out on a game drive, I take great joy in noticing the array of colours that the wilderness has to offer. The brightly coloured feathers of a lilac-breasted roller, the striking black and white pattern on a zebra’s coat, or the golden mane of a lion each contribute to a diverse palette of nature’s colours.

When out on a safari, we often witness incredible sights, but we may not always take the time to truly ‘see’ them. I encourage you to pause and truly observe, uncovering the extraordinary beauty in the every day—textures, colours, and details that often go unnoticed.
Chameleons have always fascinated me. The intricate details of their skin are truly incredible.

Throughout the day, the skies shift in colour and mood, from calm blue to dramatic dark blue with passing clouds. This adds depth and beauty to the landscape.
Sunsets at Londolozi are incredibly stunning, with vibrant colours like orange, red, and purple filling the sky as the sun goes down. It’s my favourite moment of the day.
