Live wildfire updates: Alexander Mountain Fire at 9,530 acres, 5% contained

DENVER (KDVR) — The Alexander Mountain Fire near Loveland in northern Colorado continued to burn thousands of acres on Saturday.

The fire began on Monday and had grown to more than 9,530 acres as of Saturday morning, with 5% containment. Several road closures, mandatory evacuations and voluntary evacuations remained as crews battled the fire.

No cause for the fire had been determined as of Friday. Anyone with information is asked to call the U.S. Forest Service Law Enforcement Tip Line at 303-275-5266.
