LAPD responds to reports of shooting at Michaels store in West Hills area

LOS ANGELES (KABC) — The Los Angeles Police Department responded to reports of a shooting Thursday night at a Michaels store in the West Hills area.

The incident happened at the craft store’s location in The Fallbrook Center corner located at the corner of Fallbrook Avenue and Vanowen Street.

AIR7 was above the scene and captured a large police presence with multiple police vehicles in the parking lot. The LAPD and the fire department were both at the scene.

AIR7 video showed at least two bullet holes in one of the windows at the front of the store.

Eyewitness News has reached out to the police department for more information.
