Labor Day brings in cooler temperatures
[ad_1]
PORTLAND, Oregon — Labor Day is going to be much cooler from what we have been seeing, as a weak disturbance brushes by that’s going to bring thick cloud cover a good part of the day, and we’ll see daytime highs in the low to mid 70s. There’s a chance of scattered showers today, but the best chance of daytime showers and thunderstorms will hold east of the Cascades. The coast will likely remain overcast throughout your Labor Day with temps in the 60s.
After a morning cloud to afternoon sunshine Tuesday, sunny skies will bring back 90 degree heat starting Wednesday and continuing through Friday. Weather models show the hottest day Thursday with valley highs nearing 100 degrees.
