Kim Kardashian’s underwear brand Skims has launched its most bizarre item yet – and it’s already sold out.

The Faux Hair Micro String Thong retails for $70 and features a trim of faux pubic hair.

Kardashian posted about the new product this morning, and they’ve already sold out of the “mirkins.”

“How funny are these Mirkins?” Kardashian said as she pans across to the G-strings laid out on the table.

“We have different colours, different hair, this is insane… Skims, baby.”

She followed the post with a video of the advertisement for the product, which shows a game show resembling The Price is Right, but instead its called “Does the carpet match the drapes?”

The video was also posted to the brand’s Instagram page, with users poking fun at the product.

“Do we wash this in the washer or use shampoo and conditioner?” one person wrote.

“I just googled the date to make sure it’s not April 1st,” another person wrote.

“I pay good money to get waxed, you mean to tell me some people would pay to put it back ON,” a third user wrote.

One user was downright horrified, writing: “Is this a joke? Goes to website. I guess not. Why, Kim, why?”

The product has already sold out in every single colour and size, including a curly hair version and a straight hair version.

Skims is known for its innovative bras and underwear.

The brand first ventured into non-traditional underwear with the nipple bra, featuring a nipple stud that pokes through clothes to make it appear like you aren’t wearing a bra at all.

It retails for $116.

Then the brand launched the nipple piercing bra, which resembles a nipple piercing, visible through a shirt. It retails for $162.
