Killing Squirrels Terrifies Him | The Survival Gardener

[ad_1]

Some people have interesting priorities:

If squirrels are destroying the food you grow for your family, eliminate them from your property.

I like squirrels – in parks. And in the wild. But not in my corn.

As for snakes, I only kill moccasins. I have spoken in favor of snakes many times. “TerrifyingWorld” is a drive-by, or else he would know that I hardly kill anything. My garden is home to wasps and spiders, lizards, snakes, tortoises, birds and the occasional bunny.

Yet I do defend our food supply if I have to.

My family is a priority. Rodents are not.

I’m not growing corn to feed the wildlife. I’m growing it because grocery bills are getting ridiculous, and I don’t trust the GMO/chemical food system.

People do kill too many useful creatures around here, which hurts nature’s ability to regulate itself. Killing a snake is like breeding hundreds of rats.

If there aren’t enough predators, though, we must become one.

Because you don’t have a squirrel infestation. You have a lead deficiency.
