TikTok food critic Keith Lee welcomed his brother home this month with one of Texas’ favorite steakhouses– Texas de Brazil.
Texas de Brazil is known for its churrascaria (Brazilian steakhouse) experience combining Brazilian and Texas inspired meats. Customers enjoy an abundant soup and salad bar and endless poultry, meats and sausage served on sticks by gauchos.
Lee has more than 17 million followers on TikTok, and has the reputation to turn a slow mom-and-pop shop into a viral eatery overnight. And though Texas de Brazil is no small business, its popularity warrants the question of if it’s overhyped.
And frankly, Lee’s review realistically won’t sway customers to go or not. The steakhouse already has loyal patrons or curious customers wanting to try its food.
In fact, Texas de Brazil was the most booked restaurant in Fort Worth in both November and October. It’s also consistently ranked in the top 10 for Open Table reservations since July.
Here’s what Lee and his brother have to say about the Texas steakhouse.
Keith Lee and Baby Lee try Texas de Brazil for the first time in eight years
Lee’s brother (Baby Lee) returned home for the first time after eight years and requested Texas de Brazil.
“We used to wear suits and gather up,” Baby Lee said, “It was a holiday.”
They tried the bacon-wrapped chicken first because, according to Baby Lee, “the steak will be better than the chicken.” He ranked the chicken an eight out of 10.
Baby Lee actually liked the bacon-wrapped chicken more than the steak.
Finally, they tried the Texas de Brazil sausage.
Safe to say, this was Baby Lee’s favorite, as he had no words to describe the bite he took.
Where to find Texas de Brazil in Fort Worth
