Kamala Harris will campaign in Raleigh with her running mate

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Kamala Harris is planning her return to North Carolina—and she won’t be alone.

Raleigh is one of seven stops that the presumptive Democratic nominee will visit with her to-be-announced running mate, according to her campaign. As of Monday, a date has not been announced.

Harris’ campaign says she will also visit Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan, Georgia, Arizona, and Nevada; states that like North Carolina are expected to decide the election.

This will be Harris’ first visit to North Carolina since becoming the presumptive Democratic nominee after President Joe Biden withdrew from the race.
