Bob Marley: One Love, the upcoming musical biopic about the late reggae icon, is nearing its theatrical release on February 14. Ahead of that, Kacey Musgraves has shared her contribution to the film’s soundtrack: a cover of Bob Marley and the Wailers’ 1977 hit “Three Little Birds.” Listen to it below.

Directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green, Bob Marley: One Love stars Kingsley Ben-Adir, who learned to play guitar for the movie, in the titular role and Lashana Lynch as Rita Marley. The movie centers around the period after a 1976 assassination attempt on Marley as he prepares to return to Jamaica in 1978 for the One Love Peace Concert. In addition to Musgraves, the film’s soundtrack also includes cover songs by Skip Marley, Daniel Caesar, Leon Bridges, and Jessie Reyez, among others.

Musgraves has stayed busy since the release her most recent album, Star-Crossed, in 2021. She stopped by Sesame Street to sing about her favorite colors, covered hits by Coldplay and Elvis Presley, and sang the 2023 Grammys in memoriam tribute. Musgraves has also been on a collaboration streak, having teamed up with Fancy Hagood for “Blue Dream Baby” and Madi Diaz for “Don’t Do Me Good.”
