SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Police are investigating a shooting in Springfield that has left one juvenile seriously injured.
According to Springfield Police Spokesperson Ryan Walsh, officers responded to the 0-100 block of Kenyon Street around 3:45 p.m. Saturday for a ShotsSpotter Activation.
When they arrived, officers found two gunshot victims at the scene. Both victims were taken to Baystate Medical Center. Walsh said one adult male sustained non-life threatening injuries while the other victim, a juvenile, was seriously injured in the shooting.
The Springfield Police Department’s Detective Bureau is investigating the shooting. 22News will provide more information when its made available.
