Italian musical sensation Patty Pravo’s name was a truly welcome addition to the 2026 Sanremo line-up, with the iconic musician preceding this with new music in the form of Ratanan and Ho Provato Tutto. The musician has now unveiled that we will be blessed with a full studio album, Opera, Pravo’s first since her 2019 studio LP Red. Fans will be delighted to know that there is not much of a wait for the new album, which arrives on March 6th 2026.
Album release notes from Warner Music Italy share: “Preceded by the singles “Ho Prova Tutto” (written by Francesco Bianconi of Baustelle) and “Ratatan” (written by Marianne Mirage and Andrea Bonomo), it also includes the song of the same name (written by Giovanni Caccamo), which will compete at the 2026 SANREMO FESTIVAL. This will be her eleventh appearance in the country’s premier singing competition. For her new album, her twenty-ninth studio album, PATTY PRAVO has chosen a diverse group of songwriters, each with their own unique backgrounds and sensibilities.”
The star accompanied the news to her Instagram page with the caption: “11 songs that bring together an intense process of musical research, graphic arts, drawing and painting.”
As well as the incredible music that the album will undoubtedly contain – we can already attest to the brilliance of Ho Provato Tutto and Ratanan – we can see that visuals for the LP are truly spectacular with striking photography from Giuseppe Lo Schiavo.
