Iran and Egypt not crazy about Seattle’s gay soccer match – KXL

I’ve found that Northwest liberals LOVE to lecture the rest of us about “cultural competency”.  Heck, they demand that cops, firefighters and paramedics take indoctrination on not offending folks from other cultures.

So how do you explain the city of Seattle announcing its June 26th soccer game that’s part of the World Cup will be a “pride match” with gay celebrations planned.

Guess who’s invited to play?  

Iran and Egypt…Muslim countries where anything LGBTQ is illegal.

Egypt only provides prison time for gay offenses…but in Iran, the law specifies flogging or death. 

Those two countries have already fired off letters objecting to the “Queen City” pushing its local sexual politics on them.

That ain’t stopping Seattle’s new, woke, progressive socialist Mayor Elect.  Katie Wilson doubled down…announcing she intends for the FIFA  match to go on as planned and will feature “community events and pride celebrations”.

Northwest liberals love to preach about inclusion…as long as your personal culture matches up with them. 

Don’t be surprised if the Muslim countries simply don’t show up.
