Culture Fix’s Andrew was delighted to be joined by Swedish pop sensation Jacqline. The star returns to the world of Melodifestivalen this year with her anthemic new single Woman, which she will perform in Heat 1 of the contest in Linköping. Jacqline shared her experiences of becoming a fan favourite thanks to her previous entry, the unforgettable banger Effortless and what we can expect from her performance of Woman.
As well as her eagerly anticipated performance at Melodifestivalen on 31 January, Jacqline also delved into her experience of being a mother and explained why returning to the contest in 2025 was not the right time for her. She spoke about the excitement of performing across Sweden and Europe, including London, where she has been creating some of her new music. The star compared the Swedish model of music with the British one, providing some interesting insights into how the creative process feels slightly different in both countries.
Jacqline also teased that we can expect an EP and, if it is anything as high quality as tracks such as Effortless and Glove, then there is plenty to be excited about.
