(INSIDE CALIFORNIA POLITICS) — Former California GOP chair Jessica Millan Patterson joined Inside California Politics this week as she ramps up efforts to combat Governor Gavin Newsom’s redistricting ballot initiative, also known as Proposition 50.
Patterson is teaming up with former House Speaker and Bakersfield Congressman Kevin McCarthy to raise funds for one of several ‘No on Prop 50’ campaigns ahead of the November 4 special election. Patterson discussed the broad-based coalition of Prop 50 opponents, which includes former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Republican Party donor Charles Munger Jr.
Political strategists Rob Stutzman (R) and Andrew Acosta (D) also joined the show to break down the messaging from both sides of the prop 50 fight.
