The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13 is set to follow the end of her marriage to her husband, Mauricio Umansky. News broke that Kyle and Mauricio had separated after 15 years of marriage in July 2023. “Kyle and Mauricio have been separated for a while now but are still living under the same roof. They remain amicable as they figure out what’s next for them and their family,” a source told People at the time.
Kyle and Mauricio confirmed the split in a joint statement on their Instagram accounts at the time. In their statement, Kyle and Mauricio denied that they were divorcing, as well as denied that infidelity played a part in their separation. The statement came amid rumors that Kyle had cheated on Mauricio with her singer and friend Morgan Wade, who appears in The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13. “In regards to the news that came out about us today… Any claims regarding us divorcing are untrue,” the statement read. “However, yes, we have had a rough year. The most challenging one of our marriage. But we both love and respect each other tremendously. There has been no wrongdoing on anyone’s part. Although we are in the public eye, we ask to be able to work through our issues privately.”
The statement continued, “While it may be entertaining to speculate, please do not create false stories to fit a further salacious narrative. Thank you for the love and support. Kyle & Mauricio.”
