How Mayorkas survived House impeachment vote

After weeks of threatening to oust Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas over the border crisis, an impeachment vote brought by House Republicans failed Tuesday night. In the Senate, a bipartisan bill to address the crisis that includes measures Republicans had demanded looks doomed largely because of a lack of GOP support.
