PORTLAND, Oregon — Look for mostly to partly sunny skies and highs near 80° through the weekend. We’ll see some clouds drift inland Saturday for a partly sunny day and morning clouds Sunday might bring traces of moisture, but Sunday afternoon will see increasing sunshine.

July begins Monday with mostly sunny weather and comfortable temperatures continuing.

Temperatures start to warm Wednesday and possible jump to 90 degrees on July 4th.  While the holiday and following weekend are a ways off and the forecast could change, weather models are hinting at a heat wave pushing north into our region.  If true, highs in the 90s and possibly 100 degrees would be possible July 4th through Sunday the 7th.  For now, please keep updated with the extended forecast.
