CLEVELAND (WJW) — A man arrested Wednesday in the murder of a 56-year-old woman who had been missing since May went before a judge on Thursday.
James Drahos, 59, of Cleveland, faces felony counts of aggravated murder and abuse of a corpse. A judge set his bond at $2 million at his Thursday arraignment in Cleveland Municipal Court, records show.
Cleveland police on Tuesday afternoon served a search warrant at a home in the 4300 block of West 139th Street, recovering what they believed to be human remains. That’s near the Sherry Avenue intersection.
In an initial interview, Drahos claimed the remains belonged to Tammy Dubuisson, who was last seen on May 22 and reported missing on June 19.
Dubuisson was last seen in Cleveland. She was featured earlier this month on FOX 8’s Missing segment with Amanda Berry.
An autopsy has been set to confirm the identity of the remains.
Drahos is due back in court for a preliminary hearing on July 19.
