Gunman fatally shoots Brooklyn man in head: police

A 24-year-old man was fatally shot in the head following a clash in a Brooklyn deli with a known gang member, police said Friday.

Abdolaye Ba was inside the Best Food Mini Market on Blake Ave. near Pennsylvania Ave. in East New York about 3:30 p.m. on Monday when he got into an argument with the other man, who police sources say belongs to a local street gang.

Ba is not affiliated with a gang, police said.

The argument spilled outside as the suspect pulled a gun and opened fire, blasting Ba in the head.

EMS rushed Ba to Brookdale University Hospital, where he died Thursday.

Ba lived two blocks from where he was shot, cops said.

The shooter who cops have identified, remained on the loose Friday. No arrests have been made.
