A Greenfield man was arrested Saturday after he allegedly injured two pedestrians with his car and fled the scene the day before, police said.

Vladimir Sinigur, 55, is charged with two counts of a hit and run with personal injury, one count of a hit and run with property damage, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, police said.

Greenfield police said they responded to Country Club Road near Barton Road Friday afternoon around 3:30 p.m., where the two pedestrians suffered serious injuries. They were taken to Baystate Medical Center.

Sinigur appeared in Greenfield District Court earlier this month on other motor vehicle charges. The charges, filed in September, included driving an uninsured vehicle, a civil motor vehicle infraction, and unlicensed operation of a vehicle.
