ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A Granville man pleaded guilty to the transportation of child sex abuse images on Monday. Thomas Allen Sr., 44, will be sentenced on January 22.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office said Allen admitted to using the internet to upload child sex abuse images from February 2016 to November 2018 and in December 2019. He also admitted to receiving child sex abuse images on his phone.
Allen faces at least five years and up to 20 years in prison when sentenced in January. He also faces a fine of up to $250,000 and a term of supervised released from five years to life.
