Last week, we reported that the country music star Garth Brooks was standing by Bud Light after the brand lost billions in the wake of going woke and teaming up with the transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney on an ad campaign. Now, the former “Saturday Night Live!” star Rob Shneider is speaking out to slam Brooks for this, and to let the world know that he made a huge mistake.

Schneider Fires Back At Brooks

“I think next time, he’s going to stay out of it. Isn’t he?” Schneider told Fox News. “I think Garth Brooks, next time, is going to shut his mouth, and he’s going to pretend like ‘I don’t have anything to do with what beer is chosen in my restaurant.’”

“I think the culture is in a very weird little place of hypersensitivity one way or the other. And I think that’s why most people shut their mouths,” he continued. “I mean, just from a business standpoint, just shut up, say I have nothing to do with it.”

This came after Brooks told Billboard that he will keep serving Bud Light at his Nashville bar because he serves “every brand of beer.”

“I want it to be a place you feel safe in, I want it to be a place where you feel like there are manners and people like one another. And yes, we’re going to serve every brand of beer. We just are. It’s not our decision to make,” he said. “Our thing is this: If you [are let] into this house, love one another. If you’re an a–hole, there are plenty of other places on lower Broadway.”

Brooks Doubles Down

Despite receiving backlash for this, Brooks doubled down days later.

“I get it, everybody’s got their opinions. But inclusiveness is always going to be me,” he said. “I think diversity is the answer to the problems that are here and the answer to the problems that are coming. So I love diversity. All-inclusive, so all are welcome. I understand that might not be other people’s opinions, but that’s OK, man. They have their opinions, they have their beliefs. I have mine.”

Schneider, however, was not having any of this, telling Brooks to “shut up” after calling out his “ego.”

“That’s the thing. I’m just as susceptible as Garth – ego. You know, he had to put this in, ‘Well, I think that, you know, I’m a good person because I did…’ And it’s like, shut up,” Schneider said.

With ‘The Liberals, You’re Just Out’

Schneider ended his rant by explaining that in the eyes of the left, there is no forgiveness once someone offends them.

“So there is no root. There is no road to forgiveness. There is no way to make amends,” he continued, adding that with “the liberals, you’re just out, you’re out forever. And that’s it. You’re out.”

“I’d rather not play [than] to ask you something. I’ll just do it. I’ll just step out,” he concluded. “I’m going to speak my mind and then deal with what I do, and if I make less money – I’m sorry. I won’t get a private jet. I’ll just fly first class on Delta, sorry.”

Schneider is one of the only openly conservative stars in Hollywood, so it’s no surprise that he already understands the lesson of “go woke, go broke.” Unfortunately for Brooks, that may be one lesson that he’s about to learn the hard way himself!
