The DC community mourns Officer Terry Bennett, tragically killed while aiding a stranded driver on I-695, as funeral services are set for January 23 in Landover.
LANDOVER, Md. — Funeral services for a DC police officer who was struck and killed while assisting a driver who was out of gas on I-695 have been announced.
The life of Terry Bennett will be commemorated Friday, Jan. 23 at the City of Praise Family Ministry, 8501 Jericho City Drive, Landover.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., followed by the service at 11:30 a.m.
The service will be livestreamed.
