Free museum admission for teens through Mint Museum’s NexGen program (and more) – Charlotte On The Cheap

The Mint Museum welcomes the next generation of museum-goers to explore, play, and experiment within a creative community of their peers and practicing artist role models.

NexGen MINT empowers teens ages 14 to 18 to create and cultivate artistic experiences in response to The Mint Museum’s engaging collection and exciting special exhibitions.

It’s free to join NexGen Mint. Register here.

NexGen Mint members get free admission to both Mint Museum locations, 500 South Tryon Street and 2710 Randolph Road, for themselves and a friend.

Perhaps the most exciting part of this program, however, is the opportunity to interact with internationally known artists and designers, and even participate in workshops with them.

These workshops are free for NexGen members, but require pre-registration. Space is limited.

When NexGen programs are planned they’ll be announced on Mint Museum’s NexGen’s page. Remember, teens have to register for NexGen Mint, and then register for the event.
