SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Firefighters rescued a cat that was stuck on a utility pole in Springfield Sunday morning.

According to the Springfield Fire Department, crews were called to 436 Central Street in Springfield for a cat that was stuck on a utility pole at approximately 7:23 a.m. on Sunday. In the photos and video, you can see the cat sitting on top of the wires on the pole.

Springfield firefighters took immediate action and were able to successfully rescue the cat. It was safely returned to its owners.
