FedEx truck in Northern California crashes into four vehicles, several hospitalized

(FOX40.COM) — Several people were hospitalized after a FedEx truck crashed into four vehicles Sunday afternoon, according to the Folsom Police Department.

At around 12:09 p.m., FPD responded to Lake Natoma Crossing Bridge near Folsom Boulevard between Greenback Lane and Natoma in Folsom for a report of a multiple-vehicle collision. Five people were transported to hospitals with injuries.  

Police said the cause of the accident is under investigation and the Folsom Lake Crossing was closed until about 2 p.m. It has since reopened.
