Fatal plane crash reported at Tahoe-area airport

(FOX40.COM) — A person has died in a Tuesday morning plane crash at the Minden-Tahoe Airport, about 20 miles from the California and Nevada state line, according to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash occurred around 8:19 a.m. and forced the closure of the airport.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
