Fatal crash blocked I-90 ramps for hours

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WJW) — A fatal crash early Friday morning blocked access to some I-90 ramps in Cleveland for several hours.
At about 5 a.m., a car smashed into a concrete wall on Eddy Road, at the I-90 eastbound entrance ramp.
EMS told FOX 8, that a woman in her 20s was pronounced dead on the scene and another female was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
FOX 8’s Patty Harken reported the crash closed Eddy Road in the northbound direction for several hours and blocked access from Eddy northbound to I-90 eastbound and westbound, as well as Eddy southbound to I-90 eastbound.
The scene of the crash was cleared shortly after 8 a.m. on Friday.
It’s not clear what caused the crash.
