Sports betting company Fanatics Betting and Gaming has unveiled the new Fanatics Sportsbook app in Maryland, Massachusetts, Ohio, and Tennessee. After six months of beta testing, the app is now available for download on iOS and Android for sports fans in these states.

The app simplifies the fan experience with a seamless registration process, user-friendly betting interface, clear withdrawal procedures, and an effective search feature, the company said. Its curated ‘Discover’ page offers significant sports events and bets, tailored to individual preferences. The platform provides live scores, lines, and odds for various teams and athletes. It encompasses a wide range of betting options, including moneyline bets, spread bets, over-unders, player props, live in-game betting markets, and Same Game Parlays (SGPs).

“After 6 months of beta testing, we are excited to officially launch the Fanatics Sportsbook product to the public,” said Scot McClintic, Chief Product Officer, Fanatics Betting and Gaming. “We are laser-focused on solving pain points facing customers by offering a faster, easier, and a more rewarding sports betting experience. The strategic patience to build a product for the long term has given us an opportunity to redefine a customer’s expectation of what a sportsbook should be. With the Fanatics Sportsbook product foundation built and wholly owned, customers should expect unparalleled speed of feature improvement, delivery, and innovation.”

The major features of the newly launched app are:

  • Optimized App Experience: It ensures smooth navigation and top-notch performance compared to generic apps.
  • Unique Loyalty Program: Users can earn FanCash, which serves as The Currency of Sport, offering the chance to access exclusive experiences. It can be converted into bonus bets or use it to purchase team merchandise on Fanatics.com.
  • Cash Rewards: Cash incentives with 5% FanCash on Same Game Parlays (SGP), 3% on parlay bets, and 1% on straight bets are available.
  • Personalized Discover Page: user can discover tailored selections including top picks, promotions, and favored rewards, streamlining the betting process. Additionally, plans are underway to customize this page based on individual team, sport, and market preferences.
  • Transparent Withdrawals: With the Withdrawal Tracker, user can stay informed about the status of your money withdrawal.
  • Enhanced Search Functionality: Industry-leading search features like autocomplete, recent searches, synonyms/aliases, and deep linking simplify the process of finding bets quickly.
  • Integrated Sports Ecosystem: As part of Fanatics’ expansive platform, it offers all the benefits of a seamless hub where users can access team merchandise, collectibles, and place bets on favorite teams—all within a single destination.

With its recent acquisition of the U.S. operations of PointsBet and its proprietary Banach Technology, the company is set to enhance the Fanatics Sportsbook. The integration will harness PointsBet’s top technology features to elevate the sports betting engine. Additionally, PointsBet’s data-driven trading models from Banach Technology will be utilized in the advanced risk and trading platform. The Fanatics Sportsbook will provide legal sports betting options encompassing professional and college football, basketball, hockey, baseball, as well as golf, tennis, motorsports, boxing, MMA, and more.
