WILBRAHAM, Mass. (WWLP) – The town of Wilbraham celebrated the start of fall with the second annual Family Fall Festival at Fern Valley Farms on Sunday.
The festival, organized by the Wilbraham Hampden Academic Trust (W.H.A.T.), aimed to raise funds for educational grants in Wilbraham and Hampden, with all proceeds going to W.H.A.T. to support local schools.
“We’re so happy to bring everybody together for this amazing day with vendors, sponsors, donations, the community members. It’s just so nice to see,” said Briana Lachapelle, Brand and Marketing Director for W.H.A.T.
Since its inception in 2003, the Wilbraham Hampden Academic Trust has awarded more than $8,000 in grants to support educational initiatives in the area.
The Family Fall Festival not only brought the community together but also contributed to the educational development of local schools through the efforts of W.H.A.T.
