In further more money and fuck the people moves, F1 has announced a policy of political neutrality unless given express permission or face undefined penalties.

This comes after the retirement of German driver, Sebastian Vettel. In his later career Vettel became a champion for various causes, frequently backing Lewis Hamilton as he forced issues like police brutality, lgbtq+ rights and black representation in sports (so now it’s Lewis against everyone).

This policy also applies to drivers like Lando Norris, who have been open about their mental health struggles.
