El Paso police investigate deaths of 2 people in far East Side neighborhood

El Paso police detectives are investigating two deaths in a far East Side neighborhood, a police spokesman said.

The investigation began after the El Paso Police Department responded to a 911 call about an unknown about 8:50 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 26, in the 11800 block of Chelita Drive, Officer Adrian Cisneros said in a news message.

The circumstances surrounding the deaths have not been disclosed as an investigation continues by detectives with the Crimes Against Persons Unit.

The address is near Vista Del Sol Drive in the Marty Robbins neighborhood. Further details were not immediately disclosed.
