It isn’t much of a mystery why I’m all over anything Dua Lipa does. The pop sensation has mastered the art of effortless glamour, and what I’ve been dying to know is how she does it. Well, ask and you shall receive. While I’ve come to associate Lipa with *very* good taste in skincare (say hello to her newly launched line with Augustinus Bader!), her recent Vogue Beauty Secrets video revealed the most coveted items in her daily makeup routine, and they absolutely deserve our attention.
While Lipa said she likes to keep her makeup on the simpler side when she isn’t on tour, it turns out her lineup is packed with beauty-editor favorites. From Glossier‘s cult-loved concealer to her KJH.Brand go-tos, there are so many “don’t skip” items in her routine. If you’re itching to know what Lipa is using for her daily glam, I’ve got you. All her everyday beauty favorites are below.
Benefit Cosmetics
Precisely, My Brow Pencil Waterproof Eyebrow Definer
Her brow pen of choice is Benefit’s Precisely, My Brow—a classic dual-ended choice that never goes out of style. On one end, you’ll find a sculpting pencil, and the other end is a shaping brush. While Lipa describes the brush as “a little bit wonky,” she loves it because it’s so easy to use daily and allows her to fill her brows in lightly on days when she doesn’t want to wear a lot of makeup.
Benefit’s pencil also happens to be a favorite of mine for this reason. It looks really natural when applied to the brows and adds just the right amount of depth without pulling too dark.
KJH.BRAND
Nano Set Brow Gel
I was excited to learn that Lipa shares my love for KJH.Brand, the namesake brand of esteemed celebrity makeup artist Katie Jane Hughes. Hughes is one of my favorites to follow on Instagram because she’s a master at creating cool girl shimmer on the lids. She’s also, of course, Lipa’s personal makeup artist, and Lipa swears by the KJH brow gel because it freezes her brows into place all day long.
VIEVE
Modern Radiance Cream Bronzer
Lipa’s bronzer of choice to start with is Vieve’s Modern Radiance cream formula. She utilizes Mary Phillips’s underpainting technique and puts her bronzer on first.
I’m obsessed with Vieve and all its formulas. In particular, this bronzer and the brand’s Muse Palette ($59) top my list of all-time products. Every time I bust them out, I never fail to get asked what I’m wearing, so that’s saying something!
This formula just melts right into the skin and gives you the perfect amount of radiance. It’s also really buildable and could low-key pass for a contour shade if you get one a couple shades darker than your skin tone. Lipa loves to swirl it all across her cheeks, under-eye area, and forehead for a sun-kissed look.
Laura Mercier
Translucent Loose Longwear Setting Powder
To set her makeup, she uses this beauty-editor favorite from Laura Mercier. Both Lipa and I love this translucent setting powder because it isn’t drying in the slightest. It contains vitamins C and E to support a more even complexion over time. Basically, it’s great to use if you, like me, struggle with dark spots. It also contains skin-conditioning amino acids and fine-milled botanicals to blur the look of pores and absorb excess oil.
ONE/SIZE
Point Made Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner Pen
Like many of us, Lipa is into faux freckles. She uses this waterproof liquid eyeliner pen from One/Size to create them around her nose. With a light hand, she dots the freckles on to create a subtle but realistic look.
Physicians Formula
Butter Bronzer
Lipa found this beauty editor–loved bronzer in a pinch at CVS once and has been obsessed with it ever since. She loves it due to its amazing smell and how light and natural it looks on the skin. She likes to place this on top of her concealer to further cement the summer sun-kissed look.
YSL Beauty
Libre Eau de Parfum With Orange Blossom & Lavender
This fragrance is such a hit everywhere I go, and it’s nice to know that Lipa loves it too. Notes of lavender, orange blossom, and musk blend together so beautifully that I always get compliments whenever I wear it. Also, I’m not going to lie. It gives me a certain level of confidence knowing that I smell even a little bit like Dua Lipa.
