Dry, pleasant weekend

[ad_1]

PORTLAND, Oregon — The last weekend of September begins and ends with clear weather in the Northwest.

Afternoon highs will reach the low 70s, even as clouds from a weak weather system arrive Saturday afternoon. Saturday night will be partly to mostly cloudy, but there will be no rain.

The clouds clear Sunday for a sunny but cooler day. Highs will be in the upper 60s.

The Northwest warms up Monday and Tuesday with highs near 80-degrees Tuesday as the area experiences light offshore winds.

Cooler winds prevail Wednesday as clouds return, but again, without rain.

Thursday will be mainly sunny and warm.

Right now, it looks like valley rain and touch of Cascade snow arrive Friday night into the first Saturday of October.
