Dry and cool to start the week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. —

Tonight

Skies remain mostly cloudy and cool, with clearing late and lows dropping into the mid to upper 40s. Winds right and from the northeast. 

Monday:

Sunny and cool with highs in the upper 60s after some clouds early on in the day. Winds will be northeast at 5-10 mph. Skies will be clearing a the day goes on after some morning clouds. 

Rest of the week:

Sunny and dry with cool to mild mornings in the low to mid-50s. There will be warming afternoon highs in the mid to upper 70s and even close to 80° by Halloween. 

Tropics

High pressure over the United States will keep all systems away for now. Tropical development is not expected over the next week, but we will watch the western Caribbean heading into the beginning of November.
