Dry and comfortable weather for now, cooler air arrives Friday

[ad_1]

Dry and comfortable weather holds on through Tuesday, with highs in the mid 70s for most. A few patchy showers could sneak along the South Coast late Tuesday night into Wednesday as a low pressure system passes offshore, but much of the region stays mainly dry.

Wednesday will bring more clouds, keeping highs in the low to mid 70s, and while a stray shower is possible inland, the best chance for rain remains south of Interstate 90.

By Thursday, that offshore low may still bring a few lingering showers, mainly for coastal areas, but widespread soaking rain is not expected. Thursday will be a bit muggy, with highs approaching 80 degrees.

A cold front moves through on Friday and ushers in cooler and drier air for the weekend.

Highs will only reach the 60s Saturday with crisp nights this weekend, definitely feeling like fall both Saturday and Sunday mornings. Sunshine and seasonable air continue into early next week as high pressure remains in control.
