Drake and SZA dated back in 2009.
In 2020, Drake featured in the song “Mr. Right Now” by 21 Savage and Metro Boomin, where he mentioned that he had dated SZA in 2008 when she would have been 19 years old. Following the song’s release, SZA took to Twitter to clarify that their involvement had actually occurred in 2009.“I just didn’t want anybody thinking anything underage or creepy was happening . Completely innocent . Lifetimes ago,” she wrote.
