SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Dozens of protesters were assembled outside the San Francisco headquarters of United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Tuesday morning. The protesters had blocked both entrances to the building at 630 Sansome Street, one on Sansome and another on Washington Street.

Protesters had also blocked Washington between Sansome and Battery and Sansome between Jackson and Washington. The protesters, about 100 with more arriving as of around 9:30 a.m., were peaceful, with several faith leaders among their ranks.

As people lined up outside for their immigration appointments, protesters painted murals on the roads outside the building. San Francisco police and immigration officers were seen stationed near the building’s Washington Street entrance.
