NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) – The Paradise City Arts Fall Festival is showcasing a diverse array of artistic talent this weekend at Northampton’s Three County Fairgrounds.

The festival features a wide range of art forms including homemade clothing, jewelry, sculptures, and paintings, drawing artists and visitors from around the world.

“It’s an opportunity for the artists to actually meet the public and for people to meet and talk to the people who make it,” said Mariah Swanson, show director of Paradise City Arts. “It’s a lot of creative energy, a great atmosphere.”

The festival is a gathering place for hundreds of vendors and thousands of visitors from New England and beyond, all sharing a common appreciation for creativity. John Peralta and his wife create ‘big kid toys’ using found objects and electricity, combining mechanical and cosmetic elements to bring whimsy and functionality.

Margaret Shipman, an artist inspired by herbal remedies and nature, spends months on her oil paintings, working in layers to create detailed landscapes. Jess Lauren, owner of Peridot Holistic Esthetics, offers skincare treatments at the festival, providing free hand massages to help visitors relax as they explore the artwork.

The Paradise City Arts Festival offers a vibrant display of creativity and artistry, showcasing a diverse array of artistic talent.
