YORK CO., S.C. – Deputies are searching for a woman and two children who were possibly hit by a train on Sunday afternoon.
Around 2 p.m., a Norfolk-Southern train conductor reported seeing a woman and two children on the train tracks near SC Highway 5 at the York-Lancaster county line. As the train approached, they started to run and supposedly disappeared.
Deputies are searching the Catawba River and woods nearby to locate them.
