DENVER (KDVR) — Weather remains quiet over the next couple of days as the area continues a warm and dry stretch. Some isolated showers are possible in the high country on Sunday, although most areas will remain dry.
Weather today: Mostly sunny, isolated mountain showers
Sunday’s forecast will be very similar to Saturday’s, starting the day with blue skies and sunshine and increasing clouds in the afternoon.
Isolated showers or storms may form in the mountains, but it’ll otherwise be another dry day in the lower elevations. Temperatures stay above normal in the upper 80s and lower 90s in the Front Range.

Weather tonight: Partly cloudy and mild
A few clouds move into Denver overnight Sunday as temperatures sink down into the upper 50s and lower 60s. Winds will be out of the northeast anywhere from 5-10 mph and isolated gusts up to 20 mph.

Looking ahead: Sunshine and warm temperatures, with minor rain chances
The extended forecast remains relatively uneventful. Monday looks set to be the hottest day of the upcoming week with high temperatures in the lower 90s and sunny skies, and we could be seeing a stray shower or two but most will remain dry.

There’s not much in the way of rain chances next week, especially in the lower elevations. That said, there is a slightly better opportunity for some isolated showers on Wednesday. Temperatures may dip slightly heading into next weekend.
