DENVER (KDVR) — Mainly sunny skies start the day in Denver, but clouds build in with spotty storm chances during the second half of the day.
Weather today: Afternoon, evening storm chance
Denver will see mainly sunny skies to start the day, helping highs climb to the upper 70s. Clouds start to build in for the afternoon with spotty storm chances.
There is a good chance we’ll see some precipitation as the Broncos’ game kicks off, so grab the rain jacket or poncho if you’re headed to the game.

Weather tonight: Clearing skies
Any lingering storms or showers from the evening will taper past sunset as skies begin to clear after midnight. Overnight lows dip to the low 50s with a light wind.

Looking ahead: Warming before weekend showers
Denver should see more sunshine on Tuesday afternoon as highs hit the upper 70s. We’ll continue the slow warming trend on Wednesday as sunny skies sick around with highs reaching the 80-degree mark. Thursday keeps temperatures above average in the lower 80s and a mix of sun and clouds.

Friday rounds out the workweek with sunny skies and warmer highs in the lower 80s. Clouds and decent rain chances arrive on Saturday, keeping temperatures nicer in the middle 70s. Temperatures continue to dip on Sunday, falling to the lower 70s with extra clouds and small rain chances.
