Denver weather: Cooler Sunday with afternoon storms

DENVER (KDVR) — Denver weather will keep some extra clouds Saturday night before cooler temperatures and chances for afternoon storms on Sunday.

Weather tonight: Mild with some clouds

Skies will stay partly to mainly clear tonight with light winds. Overnight lows will be mild as they dip into the middle 50s.

Weather tomorrow: Afternoon storms and clouds

Early sunshine won’t last with more clouds building in the late morning. Scattered storms build shortly after noon and will push into the plains.

High temperatures on Sunday will be the coolest in about two and a half weeks, only reaching the middle to upper 70s.

Looking ahead: Climbing temperatures

Monday has small chances for some afternoon showers with more sunshine and highs in the middle 80s.

More seasonal highs are back in the upper 80s on Tuesday with very small storm chances and extra clouds.

Wednesday continues the warming trend with highs in the lower 90s and sunny skies.

Thursday keeps the mainly sunny skies with hot highs in the low 90s. Friday gets hotter with sunny skies and highs in the upper 90s.

Next Saturday is another hot day that could flirt with triple digits as Denver continues to have mainly sunny skies.
