The time of year has come to indulge to your heart’s content in one of the most popular fruits to grace Florida: It’s time for all things strawberry! With this annual Plant City celebration and deliciously themed foods throughout Tampa Bay, get ready to show some love to this popular red fruit at the Florida Strawberry Festival.
Starting February 29th, gates will open for family and friends to enjoy live concerts, amusement rides, and tasty dishes everyone will love. Enjoy the hypnotic music of famous artists such as the Black Eyed Peas, Flo Rida, Cody Johnson and so many more on select days as you enjoy a variety of sweet treats at the tip of your fingers. Munch on the world-famous strawberry shortcake or try a slice of strawberry pizza, strawberry brisket taco or chocolate strawberry shortcake milkshake from select vendors. Any strawberry-themed food can be found at this annual festival with screams of excitement around each corner from the many amusement rides scattered in the field.
Tickets for adults (ages 13+) start at $10, youth (ages 6-12) $4 and children 5 and under are free. This festival will only run until March 10, so move fast to make memories you will remember!
Strawberry Shortcake Cider & Strawberry Moscato

Ready to try something new? Don’t forget to stop by Keel & Curley Winery at Keel Farms to try their new strawberry-themed drinks being unveiled at the Strawberry Bash on Saturday, February 24. Grab a bottle of the farm-fresh Strawberry Moscato or sample the new seasonal Strawberry Shortcake Cider that will have you craving all things berry. Find the perfect batch of strawberries this season at a strawberry u-pick. Bring family and friends to pick as many strawberries as everyone desires for only $3 a pound. Gates open at 1 p.m. and close at 6 p.m., or until all the berries are gone, so make sure to stop by before you miss the chance!
Parkesdale Farm Market “Strawberry Shortcake”
