DC police are searching for a suspect after a man was fatally shot in Northwest overnight.
WASHINGTON — DC police are looking for a suspect after a man was shot to death overnight in Northwest.
Police responded to the scene in the 1400 block of Clifton Street around 12:35 a.m. after hearing gunshots.
When they arrived, they found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds, unconscious and not breathing.
Emergency crews also responded to the scene, but they were unable to save the victim, who has not been identified.
They say a gun was recovered at the scene, but they did not have any information on the possible shooter when they released the initial report.
