Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell provided some reassurance Monday about rookie cornerback Terrion Arnold’s injury status.
“I don’t think this is a huge thing,” Campbell said. The main question, he added, is whether Arnold will be ready this week. If not, the expectation is that the first-round pick should be back on the field next week.

That’s encouraging news for a Lions secondary already stretched thin after D.J. Reed’s hamstring injury, which could land him on injured reserve. Arnold has quickly earned a starting role as a physical, competitive corner, and keeping him healthy is vital as Detroit prepares for a road test against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 5.
