(KRON) — Crews began battling a grass fire Wednesday afternoon in St. Helena, according to Cal Fire’s Sonoma-Lake-Napa Unit. The fire, named the Crystal Fire, broke out near the 200 block of Crystal Springs Road.

As of 6:30 a.m. Thursday, the fire is at 60 acres with 75 percent containment, Cal Fire said on social media. Forward progress on the fire has stopped. Three areas surrounding Bell Canyon Reservoir were under an evacuation warning.

The temperature in the area was about 102 degrees around 4 p.m. on Wednesday. Four firefighters were hospitalized for injuries related to the response in rocky conditions and hot weather. All four were treated and released as of Thursday morning, Cal Fire said in an update.

One outbuilding was destroyed in the fire, however, officials said that no residential structures were damaged.

The fire is on private property, and firefighters could only access the blaze on foot due to the terrain. Sixteen engines, two dozers, three hand crews, five water tenders, three air tankers and two helicopters were assigned to the fire.

Cal Fire posted photos of the fire (below).

The Bay Area Air Quality Management District issued an air quality advisory due to the smoke from the Crystal Fire.

This fire marks the second fire in St. Helena on Wednesday. Earlier in the day, a fire broke out around 10 a.m. near downtown on Oak Avenue and Adams Street.
