The fire happened on Fishers Farm Lane just south of Pineville-Matthews Road. A second alarm was activated as crews responded to the scene.
It took 50 minutes for crews to control the fire. No injuries were reported to firefighters or people at the scene, according to the Charlotte Fire Department. However, Medic said that two people suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the fire has not been determined at this time. It’s unclear how many apartments were impacted at this time.
The Charlotte Fire Department is further investigating this fire.
